To make visible the creative potential of indigenous languages speakers through the presentation and promotion of the multilingual goods, products and services that generate communication bridges that allow dialogue, exchange and the strengthening of community cultural production.
The National Fair of Indigenous Languages 2019 will present concerts, dialogues, exhibitions, film presentations, workshops and various activities to showcase the country’s linguistic diversity, as well as the cultural production that communities have developed.
This year, the invited languages are those at high risk of extinction. From Mexico, those from Sonora, Chihuahua, Baja California, Sinaloa, Durango and Coahuila; and at international level, those from Canada.
