The Second Intercultural Meeting – Secundo Encuentro Intercultural

10 estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional Intercultural de la Amazonía que representan a 6 etnias amazónicas, estudiantes de la UNIA participaron del II Encuentro Intercultural Universitario: El futuro de las Lenguas Indígenas. Miradas desde la Educación y la Lingüística, los días lunes 24, martes 25 y miércoles 26 de septiembre, organizado por la UNIA y PUCP.

Aquí participaron docentes de la UNIA, entre ellos el Mg. Jorge Sato Ruiz, la Dra. Amelia Torres Zambrano, la Mg. Julia Yon Delgado, el Mg. Víctor Paredes Estela y el Dr. Carlos Gonzáles Pinedo.

Los estudiantes en este II Encuentro fueron: Wajai Wajai Celis (Awajún), Romaina Brito Willy (Shipibo), Dávila Medina Luis, Ruiz Linares Ramiro (Shipibo), Sánchez Masurashi Gilton (Candoshi), Esteban Ochavano Susan (Shipibo), Pizango Pizango Limber (Shawi), Mashigkash Atuyap Glen (Awajún), Unup Pacunta Mijael (Wampis) y Ochavano Rodriguez Wilian (Iskonawa).

El lunes 24 estuvo a cargo de los representantes de la PUCP, donde tocaron el tema Reflexiones en torno a la Discriminación Lingüística: Miradas desde el castellano o amazónico. Asimismo, estudiantes de la UNIA, participaron de la mesa de diálogo sobre El Tratamiento de la Diversidad Cultural en la Universidad Peruana. Aquí los talleres estuvieron a cargo del Dr. Roberto Zariquiey, docente de la Escuela Profesional de Lingüistica de la PUCP y la colaboración de la Dra. Pilar Valenzuela.

Representates de la UNIA dieron una charla el martes 25 sobre Enfoque Intercultural en la Universidad Pública: Tipos de pensamiento, a cargo del Dr. Víctor Paredes, Coordinador de la Facultad de Educación Intercultural y Humanidades. Cosmovisión de los Pueblos Amazónicos a cargo del Dr. Carlos Gonzalo. Didáctica de la Comunicación y Revitalización de las lenguas a cargo de la Mg. Julia Yon y la Dra. Amelia Torres.

El miércoles 26 nuestros estudiantes fueron al museo Afro Peruano, donde recibieron el taller de Parlamento Universitario a cargo de la Oficina de Atención y Enlace Ciudadano del Congreso de la República.

La organización del encuentro tuvo el soporte técnico del Director de Resposablidad Social de la UNIA, el Mg. Jorge Sato, quien conjuntamente con los docentes que formaron parte este II Encuentro hecho realidad.
