Kulturang Bukidnon

“Kulturang Bukidnon” is a thirty minute, four-times a month magazine type format radio program that deals with Bukidnon culture.  This program focuses on three things.  First, it provides a school-based radio program focusing on Bukidnon culture.  Second, it develops culture-sensitivity the Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICC’s).  And lastly, it depicts a positive image of the seven tribes in Bukidnon.  These seven tribes are the Talaandig, Higa-onon, Bukidnon, Umayamnon, Matigsalug, Manobo and Tigwahanon.  There are three objectives of the program.  First, to provide a basic understanding of the indigenous culture of these seven ethnic groups in Bukidnon.  Second, to produce basic expression of “Binukid” language translated to English.  And third, to present various literary pieces.
