  1. Presentación de investigación : Estrategias para la enseñanza de lenguas moribundas por maestros con poco dominio de ellas

Resumen de la presentación:

En esta presentación la investigadora muestra los resultados de un estudio realizado sobre las estrategias de aprendizaje y resultante interacción en el aula de doce lecciones de náhuat. La investigación se realizó en cuatro escuelas públicas participantes en el programa de rescate de la lengua nahuat-pipil. Después de discutir cómo la literatura más sobresaliente sobre los enfoques utilizados para la enseñanza de lenguas contradice la experiencia de la enseñanza del náhuat en El Salvador, la investigadora discute como las estrategias observadas impactan el aprendizaje de dicho idioma. Los hallazgos de la investigación indican que a pesar de la falta de dominio del náhuat por parte de los docentes (tamachtiani), los estudiantes muestran progreso gradual en la comprensión y uso del nahuat, lo que resulta un elemento motivador para los docentes quienes enseñan en contextos que contradicen las prescripciones de la enseñanza de idiomas extranjeros.

 

  1. Presentación de canal de Youtube para el aprendizaje de nahuat.

El Licenciado Hector Javier Martínez, presentará su canal de Youtube, creado con el propósito de dar a conocer la cultura náhuat en El Salvador. El canal contiene, además de lecciones para el aprendizaje del náhuat, entrevistas con nahuat hablantes de Santo Domingo de Guzmán en Sonsonate.

It is for this reason that the United Nations declared 2019 the Year of Indigenous Languages in order to encourage urgent action to preserve, revitalize and promote them.
