These domains are united by a shared them of equity. So, how can we innovate to better serve these areas of unmet social and medical need ? Life Languages will help retain and empower Aboriginal language, for all the benefits that brings, and partner that with our genetic language to transform health care. We now need help to accelerate and scale the delivery of the Life Languages impact.

Now in their 12th year, the International Conferences of Indigenous Archives, Libraries, and Museums provide culturally relevant training and networking opportunities for indigenous cultural institutions.  In 2019, the conference will focus on how archives, libraries, and museums can support indigenous languages.

Present and celebrate Victorian Aboriginal Living inheritance of language and Indigenous languages across all First Nations of Australia Improve understanding of Indigenous language knowledge systems Increase awareness of Aboriginal languages as intangible heritage and role of language with treaty processes for Aboriginal people Strengthen working relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous academics Provide an environment for discussion, and networking, building opportunities for Indigenous peoples to platform their language Highlighting the approach to language reclamation as Indigenous peoples.
