Promotion of events and resources created by Indigenous organizations about Indigenous languages and cultures in Canada

The Language Portal of Canada, an initiative managed by the Translation Bureau which is part of the Government of Canada, will be posting publications on its Twitter and Facebook accounts (in English and in French) about writing and learning resources, events, revitalization initiatives and organizations related to Indigenous languages in Canada (languages still spoken in Canada and endangered ones). We will not organize any event ourselves, but will rather feature events that Indigenous organizations will be holding. We also plan on publishing at least 2 articles about Indigenous languages in the Our Languages blog in 2019. Indigenous languages regularly are the scope of our social media publications, but we’ll be posting more in 2019, at least 2 publications per week (we have already started doing so).
