The original music archive has as its fundamental objective, the realization of actions for the conservation of the indigenous music of Latin America. There will be an official presentation of the original Music Archive where the following topics will be addressed:
How it was developed:
-Ideal idea
-Methodology of work
Future Actions:
_what type of actions will be carried out.
- How the actions will be monitored
- Expected objectives
- Methodology of analysis of results and objectives.
New technologies as tools for the conservation and generation of local content: opinions and contradictions.

Later, a sample of the action carried out with the original Wayuu group will be made.

Description of the previous stage of the fieldwork, contact with the community.
Obtaining funds for the project, successes and failures.

Analysis of the situation of the traditional Wayuu language and music.

Presentation of the project to the community.

The event seeks to disseminate the Original Music Archive, make visible the situation of music and the Wayuu language and of the Arhuaco (Colombia) and Yanomami (Brazil) communities.
The event will be attended by the director of the Original Music Archive: Juan Chao, the Program Coordinator in Uruguay for IBERMUSICAS, María Laura Prigue Pardo and coordinators representing the member countries of IBERMUSICAS
