El evento se realizará en el marco del “170 Aniversario de la BECENE” y, así mismo, responde al “2019, Año Internacional de las Lenguas Indígenas”. Para ello se tiene contemplado realizar la Acreditación de Competencias Lingüísticas del Náhuatl e impartición de una conferencia magistral en torno a acciones institucionales para el fortalecimiento del náhuatl.

Espacio para compartir experiencias en torno al desarrollo y fortalecimiento de la cultura y la lengua náhuatl que se llevará a cabo en la Benemérita y Centenaria Escuela Normal del Estado de San Luis Potosí.

El evento está dirigido al público en general.

Se llevarán a cabo actividades académicas (conferencias, foros de discusión, mesas redondas, páneles, encuentros, pláticas) y artísticas y culturales (música, artesanía, exposiciones fotográficas).

Indigenous languages matter for social, economic and political development, peaceful coexistence and reconciliation in our societies. Yet many of them are in danger of disappearing. It is for this reason that the United Nations declared 2019 the Year of Indigenous Languages in order to encourage urgent action to preserve, revitalize and promote them.
