Broadcasting about the beliefs of Indigenous People

The broadcasting was held at Bukidnon State University. It was about the beliefs of the ICC’s found in Bukidnon namely; Bukidnon, Higaunon, Matigsalug, Manobo, Umayamnon, Talaandig and Tigwahanon. These beliefs include the religious beliefs, Healing beliefs, Marriage beliefs and Sacred Rituals. The 7 tribes of Bukidnon beliefs only in one God called “Magbabaya”, they also believed in minor gods and goddesses who follows the command of Magbabaya. There are gods living in the water, in the forest and in the land. One example is “Bulalakaw” god of river and lake. In the healing belief the ICC’s believe that indigenous medicine can heal the sick person. They also believed in “Tawal” or what we called “tuhi-tuhi”. Whenever the this medication won’t heal the sick, they would directly make “pamuhat” or ritual for the healing of the sick. On the other hand marriage in ICC’s isn’t like the ordinary people. They believed in “pamalas” or to getting the bad luck. Lastly, there are many rituals performed by the ICC’s in every celebration. One of the rituals they performed is the “Talabugta” wherein it is performed in farming. These are all the beliefs of the ICC’s
