The Festival of the Endangered Cultural Heritage – FECH 2019

FECH 2019 which will take place between June 17 and June 19, 2019, preceding The Annual Kurultai of the Endangered Cultural Heritage – AKECH . As 2019 is UNESCO’s International Year of Indigenous Languages, this year FECH  focuses on “Indigenous People: Stories, Cultures, Languages,” featuring free public events for any age – including performances, concerts, traditional sports, film screenings, art exhibitions and shows. As 2019 is UNESCO’s International Year of Indigenous Languages, this year FECH focuses attention on the critical risks confronting indigenous languages. The theme of the festival is “Indigenous People: Stories, Cultures, Languages.” It intends to be an opportunity for indigenous people to tell their myths, to show and explain their cultures.
